Ingredients:


• 1 large baguette or Italian loaf

• 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened

• 4 cloves garlic, minced

• 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

• 1 teaspoon dried oregano

• 1/2 teaspoon salt

• 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

• 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)





Directions:

1. Prepare the Bread:

• Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).

• Cut the baguette in half lengthwise.

2. Make the Garlic Butter:

• In a medium bowl, combine the softened

 butter, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried

 oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until well

 combined.

3. Assemble the Garlic Bread:

• Spread the garlic butter mixture evenly over

 the cut sides of the bread.

• If using, sprinkle the grated Parmesan cheese

 over the buttered bread.

4. Bake:

• Place the bread halves on a baking sheet, cut side up.

• Bake in the preheated oven for 10-12 minutes,

 or until the edges are golden and crispy.

5. Serve:

• Remove the garlic bread from the oven and let it cool slightly.

• Slice into pieces and serve warm.
