Rich and Delicious Fudge Filled Peanut Butter Cake Bars

Ingredients:

For the Peanut Butter Cake:

• 1 cup unsalted butter, softened

• 1 cup creamy peanut butter

• 1 cup granulated sugar

• 1 cup brown sugar, packed

• 4 large eggs

• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

• 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour

• 1 teaspoon baking powder

• 1/2 teaspoon salt

For the Fudge Filling:

• 1 (14 oz) can sweetened condensed milk

• 1 1/2 cups semisweet chocolate chips

• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Directions:

1. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F

 (175°C). Grease and flour a 9x13-inch baking

 pan.

2. Prepare the Peanut Butter Cake Batter: In a

large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter,

creamy peanut butter, granulated sugar, and

brown sugar together until light and fluffy. Add

the eggs one at a time, beating well after each

addition. Mix in the vanilla extract.

3. Add the Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl,

whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking

powder, and salt. Gradually add the dry

ingredients to the butter mixture, mixing until

 just combined.

4. Spread Half of the Batter: Spread half of the

peanut butter cake batter evenly into the

 prepared baking pan.

5. Prepare the Fudge Filling: In a microwave-safe

bowl, combine the sweetened condensed milk

and semisweet chocolate chips. Microwave in

30-second intervals, stirring after each, until the

chocolate is melted and the mixture is smooth.

 Stir in the vanilla extract.

6. Add the Fudge Layer: Pour the fudge filling

over the peanut butter cake layer in the pan,

 spreading it evenly.

7. Add the Remaining Batter: Drop spoonfuls of

the remaining peanut butter cake batter over

the fudge layer and gently spread to cover as

much of the fudge as possible.

8. Bake the Bars: Bake in the preheated oven for

30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown

and a toothpick inserted into the center comes

out with just a few crumbs. Allow the bars to

cool completely in the pan on a wire rack.

9. Serve: Once cooled, cut into bars and serve.

 Enjoy!
